A two day national conference on ‘Revised Accreditation Framework : Issues and Perspectives’ was organized by Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Kopargaon Taluka Education Society’s K.J. Somaiya College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Kopargaon with the financial support from NAAC, Bangalore during 9th to 10th August, 2019.

The conference was basically organized for Principals, IQAC coordinators, IQAC committee members and NAAC steering Committee members.

For this conference, 83 Participants registered their names and were present for two days. Research papers related with NAAC’s Revised Accreditation Framework were invited and 30 participants sent their papers of which 24 papers were peer reviewed and found suitable for publication. These 24 papers have been published in a conference proceeding entitled ‘Revised Accreditation Framework: Issues & Perspective’.

The broad objectives and sub-themes of this conference were as follows:

• Revised Assessment and Accreditation Framework
• Role of IQAC in quality improvement of HEIs
• Role of ICT in Assessment and Accreditation
• Online filling up of AQAR
• Criteria-wise lectures of Resource persons.
